1 The story of the man who fell down to a flash of light from heaven supposedly urinating on himself, by the roadside oblivious to the happenings, until Jesus spoke to him perhaps is the turning point for many people’s faith today as he really did great missionary things after the incident. Besides Jesus, his role in teaching us on how to stay away from the sins of the flesh remains undisputed.
There’s no need to disclose his identity, for now, but a handy thing that he did for men’s affairs is re-shaping the bachelor life. He actually admitted at once that he had the gift of celibacy and even wished that some other men were like him. Albeit I know not much about the scripture, I postulate that he was a very active member in the commemoration of the death of Jesus Christ. 2
To be sincere if for instance you travelled back in time from now to experience beforehand the first Eucharist feast popularly known as the ”last supper,” you would come back so energized! You can imagine the king of kings Himself giving you a hint, in real time, that if you eat the bread and drink the wine, you shall live in him and that you will never die. And after He has asked you to be performing that ritual periodically so as to always remember Him would you ever want to miss attending the holy mass on Sundays and during Easter?

In as much as women are involved in the last supper, I do believe that the gospel of remembrance is more essentially meant for the male gender. You see the most punishable sin according to the scripture is that of sinning with the flesh and men conventionally suffer more when it comes to sexual sin. The stories of adultery, musturbation and porn are more prevalent in this gender than in the other if you’d agree with me.
But if we as men forever refrain from committing such heinous acts and revert to performing the ritual of the holy communion just to remind ourselves every time of the benefits of staying pure, for sure we’ll all have an everlasting life after Earth and more importantly; we’ll have a superb and wealthy life here on Earth as most of us are already living the promise. And like they say, “narrow is the path and hard is the way.” I don’t have to explain what that quote mean; just google it as my assignment for you tonight but anyway good luck as you trend on your path!
